Liverpool are weighing up a January swoop for Real Madrid attacker Jese Rodriquez, as reported by Don Balon.
The 22-year-old forward has struggled for game time since Rafa Benitez replaced Carlo Ancelotti at the Bernabeu last summer and the report claims the youngster is looking for a move away from Los Blancos next month.
Jurgen Klopp’s Reds side have struggled for goals this season, thanks to a number of injuries to key striker Daniel Strurridge and the likes of Divock Origi and Christian Benteke failing to deliver consistently in front of goal.
And with Jese managing just 32 minutes of action for Real Madrid since the beginning of November, it’s looking increasingly likely the Los Blancos academy graduate could be on his way out in the not too distant future.
Jese has scored two and assisted one in 13 first team appearances for Real this term.
The Spain U21 international is valued at £9.8m by Transfermarkt.com.
