Liverpool fans have berated £29m midfielder Roberto Firmino on Twitter for his perceived lack of desire in chasing down a back pass.
A poor pass from the Norwich City defence left Canaries custodian Declan Rudd in a sticky situation, with the mega money Reds superstar looking likely to pounce on the error.
Twice in this half Firmino has backed out of a challenge when in good positions.

Dreadful from Firmino. Seemed not to fancy challenging the keeper.

However, the Brazilian international appeared to SLOW down on his run into the box and the ball eventually trickled harmlessly into Rudd’s grasp.
Have to say, that Firmino is a very lazy player. Doesn't seem to have any pace. #LFCFamily

People slating the easy targets as well. Firmino has scored but offered nothing. Henderson and Emre are all over the place.

With the Merseyside giants 2-1 down despite having taken the lead through, you guessed it, Firmino himself, fans have not taken too kindly to his lack of aggression.
Firmino chickened of of that! #LFC

Though his recent performances have improved, the Selecao star has just 4 goals in 26 games for the club, having arrived with a big reputation earned with German side Hoffenheim.
If Firmino sprints there he gets to that ball first

Such indecision has had fans calling the glory days when Luis Suarez, particularly prolific against today’s opponents, would spearhead the attack with his sheer dynamism.
I wish Firmino would close down like Suarez did.. That would have been a goal #lfc
