Loads of Liverpool fans have been giving their verdict on Wednesday’s defeat in Paris, and they’re absolutely fuming at the performance of Dejan Lovren.
Liverpool have it all to do to quaify from their Champions League group, as Wednesday’s defeat means the Reds must beat Napoli at Anfield in order to progress.
Fans are particularly disappointed with the defeat in Paris because the French champions have showed time and time again they are vulnerable, but Jurgen Klopp’s side simply didn’t show up in the first half.

The midfield trio of James Milner, Jordan Henderson and Georginio Wijnaldum were the worst performers, but the centre-back pairing of Lovren and Virgil van Dijk didn’t cover themselves in glory either.
Lovren is taking most of the stick for the defensive frailties, as the Croatian international has gone through so many patches of bad form since arriving at Anfield under Brendan Rodgers back in 2014.
For many fans, this was the last straw for the tough-tackling 29-year-old, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
Sorry but what is Lovren doing? He’s ball watching, BALL WATCHING. pic.twitter.com/FIjJHLtiVz

I don’t want to see Henderson and Lovren in a starting eleven again. Move on, Jürgen.

If I never saw Lovren in a Liverpool shirt again it would still be too soon.
