Liverpool are one of just two English clubs that have made it into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Prior to the last-16 stage, five Premier League outfits were in the hat, but a handful have since tumbled.

Tottenham Hotspur were ousted by Juventus across two legs, while Manchester United were stunned by Sevilla and Chelsea were comfortably beaten by Barcelona.

Liverpool executed their way into the final eight with a convincing 5-0 triumph over Porto on aggregate, while Pep Guardiola’s Man City overcame Basel.

On Friday, UEFA will carry out the quarter-final draw, and the Reds fans, who urged the club to move for Sevilla’s Wissam Ben Yedder following his heroics against United, are weighing up who would be the best opponent.

There are no restrictions at this stage of the competition, so Jurgen Klopp’s side could face fellow Premier League rivals City.

If they avoid Guardiola’s men, the club could be drawn against Juventus, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Sevilla, Roma or Bayern Munich.

Liverpool fans have been tweeting about who they want the club to go up against for a place in the semi-final.
