Daniel Sturridge has failed to secure a regular spot in Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool team, and as a result it seems that he could be on his way out of the club.
So far this season, the striker has started just five games, all of which were in the Premier League.
Klopp has not used the forward since December in a 7-0 victory over Spartak Moscow in the Champions League.
According to Corriere dello Sport, Sturridge is keen to join Inter Milan and prove himself in another country.
There has been no official confirmation regarding the 28-year-old’s future, but fans believe that his exit is clear to see after the forward was not included in tonight’s FA Cup squad.
Klopp opted against naming Sturridge in the setup at Anfield, where the team will take on West Bromwich Albion in the fourth round.
Liverpool fans took to Twitter after noticing that the England international was absent.
If Klopp lets Sturridge go without a replacement coming in, that is one hell of a gamble. A couple of injuries and we’re relying on Ings and Solanke #LFC

So Sturridge to be sold then. He's not even on the bench. Can't believe we're selling Coutinho and Sturridge in the same window. #LFC

Sturridge's total absence makes me think Klopp is very much looking to sell, but we'll see. Disappointed that Woodburn hasn't made the 18. Progress has stalled due to a lack of minutes. #LFC
