Liverpool fans criticise Roberto Firmino performance

Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge took another small hit on Monday night as they were held to a 1-1 draw by West Ham United at the London Stadium.

Sadio Mane sent Liverpool ahead in the 22nd minute, but Michail Antonio levelled the scores just six minutes later and that was how it finished on the night.

It was a poor performance from Liverpool and despite the fact that they are three points clear at the summit, Manchester City will have been encouraged again.

Roberto Firmino was amongst the Liverpool players to find it difficult against the Hammers, with the Brazilian replaced for the final 15 minutes.

The 5ft 11in ace has 11 goals in all competitions this season, but the 27-year-old has only managed one in his last four Premier League appearances.

And it would be fair to say that a number of Liverpool fans were disappointed with what they saw from the attacker on the night.
