Liverpool fans debate possible swoop for Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart

Liverpool finally addressed their goalkeeper issue by bringing in world-class talent Alisson from Roma earlier this summer.

After Loris Karius made two costly errors during the Reds’ Champions League final defeat to Real Madrid in May, it became clear that he was on borrowed time.

According to The Telegraph, Karius could be sold before the summer transfer window shuts on August 9, while Simon Mignolet may also be on the chopping block.

If both shot-stoppers move on, then it would leave Jurgen Klopp with limited options if Alisson was to be unavailable at any point during the season.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart is on the hunt for a new club as he is unlikely to get a look-in under Pep Guardiola.

The Times recently reported that the Premier League champions have lowered the shot-stopper’s price tag to £5m.

Hart has plenty of experience having won two league titles with City, but he has since dropped down the pecking order and lost his number one spot with England.

During last season’s loan spell at West Ham United, Hart was sometimes criticised for his performances.

On Twitter, some Liverpool fans have discussed the idea of recruiting the City man as a back-up keeper, and the opinions have been mixed.
