Jordan Henderson has not always had the best of relationships with the Liverpool fans.
Following Steven Gerrard as Liverpool captain was never going to be the easiest of tasks, and there are plenty that feel the midfielder is not quite good enough or indeed influential enough to be in the privileged position at Anfield.
The 27-year-old has been criticised by Liverpool supporters on a number of occasions this season, but Tuesday was a very positive night for the Englishman as he helped his side record a 5-2 win over Roma in the first leg of their Champions League semi-final.
Henderson’s all-action performance brought a host of praise after the match, and it does appear that the Liverpool fans have changed their tune when it comes to the former Sunderland captain, who is valued at £22.5m by transfermarkt.co.uk.
Roma’s two late goals at Anfield have left the tie somewhat open, but Liverpool will fancy their chances of finishing the job in Rome next week.

This guy has matured enough, honestly I got to know his worth today! He made Nniangolan and Strootman look like league one players
