Liverpool thumped Burnley 4-2 on Sunday to move within one point of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
Jurgen Klopp’s side had to endure some testing conditions at Anfield, with high winds wreaking havoc on both sides.
Burnley took the lead through a freak Ashley Westwood goal but a brace apiece from Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino ensured the Reds took home all three points, despite a late rally that saw Johann Gudmundsson reduce the arrears to 3-2.
Mane’s second goal ensured that he broke the 50-goal barrier for the Reds, having been prolific since his move to the club from Southampton in 2016.
The 58-cap Senegal international has been in excellent form this season, scoring 16 goals in 28 Premier League appearances, with his latest two-goal haul his second brace in as many games at home, after also netting one against Watford in a 5-0 victory.
And fans were delighted with the winger reaching his milestone, as Klopp’s men continue to dream of overhauling City and winning the Premier League title. Take a look at the best of the reaction below!

16 goals. 1 behind Salah without taking penalties. Best LFC player alongside VVD. Hope he wins the golden boot or end up as Liverpool top scorer

Mane's quietly having the best season of not only any of our attackers, but of any in the league so far. 🔥 Already scored in 12 different games so far, the most by any non-pen taker. #LFC
