Liverpool fans discuss future Adrien Rabiot swoop

Liverpool had a successful summer transfer window as manager Jurgen Klopp addressed some problem areas and the club flexed some financial muscle.

Many Reds fans will be hoping that Alisson has solved their goalkeeping issue following his big-money arrival from Roma.

Fabinho and Naby Keita have strengthened the midfield following the departure of Emre Can, and Xherdan Shaqiri is an extra option in attack.

Now that the window is closed to incomings, some supporters have begun looking ahead to the January market and next summer.

Over the weekend, L’Equipe reported that Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot – valued at £45m by Transfermarkt –  has opted against renewing his contract, which expires next summer.

The Sun then claimed that Liverpool will try to land the Frenchman’s signature on a free transfer next year.

Rabiot has been linked to Premier League clubs numerous times, but a deal has never come to pass.

If the 23-year-old did make the move to Anfield, it would be interesting to see how Klopp would fit the player into his already packed midfield.

Some Liverpool fans have been discussing the prospect of a deal on Twitter.
