With the January transfer window three months away, gossip has begun churning through the rumour mill.
Liverpool are one of a handful of clubs that have been linked to Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey.
The London Evening Standard recently reported that Liverpool and Manchester United are both considering making moves in the winter market due to the Welshman’s contract situation.
Talks over a new deal with Arsenal have broken down, which means that Ramsey, who has scored 60 goals and provided as many assists in 340 outings for the Gunners, will become a free agent at the end of the season.
On Friday, The Mirror quoted the midfielder as saying that he will “of course” stay with the Gunners until his contract expires, which suggests that he has no intention of leaving in January.
However, his words are unlikely to stop potential suitors from trying to convince him to move on midway through the season.
On Twitter, account @empireofthekop asked fellow Liverpool supporters how much they would be willing to spend on Ramsey, and the responses varied.

A bargain for £25 mil, the lad is quality and a real goal threat from midfield

25 is too much, he is a good player but his injury record isn’t great. If we could get him under 20 then I’d say ok because it keeps him in the same bracket as shaquiri where if it doesn’t work out it’s not ridiculous money
