Out of all the Liverpool players, Philippe Coutinho is the one that has dominated the transfer gossip pages.
However, his teammate Emre Can has also been filling the columns with rumours that the midfielder could also be on his way out of Anfield.
The latest report comes from Sky Italy, who claim that the German World Cup winner has agreed in principle to join Juventus in the summer.
It is believed that Liverpool are keen for Can to put pen to paper on a new contract, but the rumour mill suggests that the player’s head has been turned.
The 23-year-old’s current deal at Anfield expires this summer, which means that he is eligible to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club.
Can joined the Reds from Bayer Leverkusen in 2014, and at one point it looked as though he would become an integral player in the team.
However, inconsistency and injuries means that he has started just 15 Premier League games this season.
Liverpool fans have given mixed responses to reports that Can has decided to leave in the summer.
emre can has served us well, he will be suited to the Italian league. He is slower on the ball and isn't mobile enough for the premier league. But I'm not taking away what he has done for us and he will be missed!! #EmreCan #liverpoolFC #lfc

If that's true about Emre Can agreeing a deal with Juve then I wouldn't play him again this season. His heart won't be in it. #LFC

My thinking is Klopp never really liked Emre Can from the get go. He also knows when Keita comes, his playing time will be limited so rather he leaves now #LFC

Let's be fair reds – Emre Can has 1 good game in 10. He's often been a contributing factor to our poor defending. He really won't be missed and hopefully FSG will allow Klopp to bring in a much better replacement #LFC #liverpoolFC

If Emre Can has agreed to sign for Juve in the summer then stick him in the ressies for the rest of the season. We don’t need players who’s heart isn’t in it. He’s been playing like that most of this season already #LFC

Losing Emre Can for nothing is a far bigger blow than losing Coutinho for a goldmine.#LFC

Gutted we are losing Emre Can. Fantastic player and still only 23. That goal against Watford was a delight and that perfect hair was just so damn dreamy. Can we afford to play him now though? Depends on his professionalism. #LFC

If Emre Can was as good as he thinks he is I’d be devastated about him leaving #lfc

For me Emre Can doesn’t play another minute for the club unless there is no other option, give minutes to players who will be at the club next season #LFC

So Emre Can is going on a free when Henderson has been trying to be Gerrard for years and failing miserably. Henderson is not good enough and for some reason is our captain? We are going to lose Coutinho in Jan and we are not linked with any goal keepers!? I’m worried @LFC #LFC
