Liverpool fans discuss run of fixtures after international break

Liverpool’s Premier League title challenge remains on track as they are still unbeaten in the division.

The club head into the second international break of the season third in the standings, level on points with leaders Manchester City and second-placed Chelsea.

Jurgen Klopp experienced his toughest list of fixtures so far when he had to prepare his team to take on Chelsea twice followed by Napoli in the Champions League and then reigning Premier League champions Man City.

On Sunday, the clash against Pep Guardiola’s side at Anfield was a shadow of the thrilling encounters last season as the pair played out a goalless draw.

Riyad Mahrez could have won it for City in the latter stages of the game but he sent his penalty high into the stands.

Liverpool will not play again until October 20 due to the international break and they have a kinder run of matches.

The club will take on Huddersfield Town, Cardiff City, Arsenal and Fulham.

Plenty of fans are confident that Klopp’s side will get the results they need to continue pushing forward.
