On Thursday morning, the Premier League took some focus away from the start of the World Cup by announcing fixtures for the 2018-19 season.
Liverpool have been given a relatively kind start as they take on West Ham United at Anfield, Crystal Palace away and Brighton at home in August.
The Merseyside outfit have also been handed a decent finish as they take on Cardiff City, Huddersfield Town, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in their final four fixtures.
Midway through the season is a different story, though, as Jurgen Klopp’s team have a jam-packed December with seven fixtures, including matches against Everton, Manchester United and Arsenal.

On top of that, after playing the Gunners, they are due to take on Manchester City three days later, and those contests could prove vital to how the remainder of the season pans out for the Reds.
It is worth noting that dates could change depending on the TV schedule, but the festive pile-up has certainly caught the attention of the fans.
December fixtures are hectic for #LFC, barely 4 days in between a lot of the games.

#LFC getting screwed on the New Years schedule. Arsenal on December 29, Man City on New Years Day three days later. Gonna be tough.

December 29th – Arsenal
January 1st – City
How is it possible for us to win both games? Rotation will be made as Klopp did it last season #LFC
