Adam Lallana has had a frustrating season at Liverpool due to injury woes.
The midfielder – valued at £22.5m by Transfermarkt – has made just 14 appearances in all competitions, including just one Premier League start.
Hamstring problems have heavily affected Lallana’s campaign, but he gave hope on Sunday that he could be in contention to play in the Champions League final.
The England international played in the final 16 minutes of Liverpool’s 4-0 victory over Brighton at Anfield on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday.
Lallana is trying to build up match fitness, but he showed glimpses of quality in his cameo appearance, particularly when his pass played a hand in Andy Robertson’s goal, which was Liverpool’s fourth of the day.
It is unclear whether manager Jurgen Klopp will include the midfielder in the lineup against Real Madrid.
However, some fans are feeling confident about Lallana’s contribution ahead of the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26.
