Liverpool supporters have praised Adam Lallana ahead of the 2019/20 season.
The former Southampton midfielder made a total of 16 appearances in all competitions last season.
He failed to complete the full match even once in any tournament, with his lengthiest appearance coming as he played 79 minutes in the Champions League defeat to Red Star in the group stages.
Attacking midfielder Lallana struggled with injuries throughout the campaign, and missed all of the club’s final six Premier League matches as they attempted to overhaul Manchester City at the top of the table.

Nevertheless, fans have not given up on the 31-year-old, who has won 34 caps for England and has proven to be something of a divisive figure in the past, and are hopeful that he can enjoy an injury-free campaign next term as the Reds look to defend their Champions League title and go one step further in the Premier League.

It feels like I’m the only Liverpool supporter who has faith in Adam Lallana.
If he keeps fit & Injury free he will be back to his good old self.#LFC

In my opinion, he’s still the silkiest player in our squad at the moment. Hope he stays fit.

Your not alone mate. People just don’t like him cause he’s English

He could be his outstanding self all preseason and people will demand he starts. Our fan base are a fickle bunch. Lallana is our most technically gifted player, especially for what Klopp wants, and I hope he stays fit.

He’s the whipping boy of the moment for some reason – The only negative about Lallana is his injury record, hence when he gets a game he’s not match fit.
When fit Lallana brings a lot to the team, he has the skill and brain to do different things and breakdown stubborn defences.

Completely agree! Too many armchair managers on twitter who can’t appreciate what he offers…he’s obvs not first team but he absolutely needs to be in the squad! I hope he stays fit next season
