Luis Suarez left Liverpool in the summer of 2014, but it seems that some fans still feel raw over his departure.

The Uruguayan was arguably the Reds' best player and his scintillating form in front of goal earned him a big-money move to Barcelona.

It cannot be forgotten, though, that the talented hitman caused controversy as well during his three-and-a-half-year spell at Anfield.

Suarez was punished for racially abusing then-Manchester United full-back Patrice Evra and also served separate bans for biting former Chelsea defender Branislav Ivanovic and later Giorgio Chiellini at the 2014 World Cup.

Liverpool have moved on from the Suarez era, but there is no denying that the 30-year-old's quality is missing on Merseyside.

On Friday, the Reds reminisced by posting a video showing one of the Uruguayan's goalscoring displays.

The clip was footage of the striker's two goals in a 3-0 victory over Wigan Athletic on home soil.

While some fans enjoyed jumping back into memory lane, others were just reminded of the gaping hole that Suarez left behind.
