The 23-year-old has become a crucial member of Pep Guardiola’s team and he shone during the 2017-18 campaign by scoring 23 goals and racking up 12 assists.
As well as Liverpool fans, Sterling has had a tough relationship with the media.
Every so often, tabloids create articles about the England international’s lavish spending, or alternatively when he chooses to be frugal.
