Some Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to highlight Mohamed Salah’s perceived greediness in front of goal, following an incident involving Sadio Mane in the 3-0 away win over Burnley.
The Egyptian had the option to pass to Mane – who was in acres of space – for a simple finish midway through the second half, but instead tried to beat the men around him and ended up losing the ball.
When Mane was later substituted, the Senegal international appeared to lash out and point back at the pitch, with Salah’s greediness allegedly the cause of the outburst.
Whilst it must be tough to pick sides in this disagreement for most Liverpool fans, some of the Reds supporters on Twitter are clearly ‘Team Mane’ in this debate and have made an effort to point out Salah’s greediness in front of goal.
Let’s take a look at what the Liverpool fans on Twitter have said about the former Chelsea man’s selfishness…
I love Salah but he really is greedy

Salah can be so greedy sometimes, you can’t blame Mane for being angry

I absolutely love Salah don’t get me wrong, the lad is an incredible player! But, he is so greedy and rightly so Mane should be frustrated! We need to be putting games away and Salah could cost us because he’s too much of a goal hunter!

Salah has become super selfish ever since Mane starred challenging him for the golden boot last season. Fantastic player but he’s playing for himself too much IMO #LFC

I’m Sorry But Salah Is An Utterly Selfish Player, I’ve Noticed over the last 2 Seasons He Is NOT a team Player, I Can Understand Mane’s Frustrastions
