Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to delve into the transfer market this summer in the hope of recruiting fresh talent for the new season.
The Reds could potentially end the season as Champions League winners as they prepare to take on Real Madrid in the final on May 26 in Kiev.
Klopp already has plenty of attacking stars, particularly in the form of Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
In January, the Merseyside outfit lost Philippe Coutinho as the Brazilian opted to join Barcelona, and it has been widely suggested that the club will bring in a replacement at the end of the season.
Over the weekend, RMC Sport reported that Fekir had agreed to move to Anfield from Lyon for a fee in the region of £62m.
The French publication claimed that former Liverpool boss Gerard Houllier played a part in the negotiations.
Fekir has been pivotal in Lyon’s campaign this season as he has netted 22 goals and created eight assists in all competitions.
The Frenchman would certainly add a new dynamic to Liverpool’s midfield, and it seems that many fans agree.
Rumours that we're signing Fekir? I'd take that all day long #LFC

Nabil Fekir oozes with quality & would be a terrific addition for us in the summer . Another versatile addition who could play as an ‘8’, RW or as a ‘10.’ The prospect of him and Naby in our midfield next season excites me.
Make it happen #LFC.

Following the Reds’ 1-0 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, Klopp commented on the speculation, telling reporters:
“During the game, we agreed a deal?! I would be surprised about that to be honest. No comment.”
