Most of the time, football fans do not welcome international breaks when the season is underway, particularly if their club have found some momentum in their domestic campaign.

The positive, though, is that it gives supporters the opportunity to look at potential players who their club could sign.

Liverpool, for example, already have a strong team, but this season they have lacked moments of creativity.

On Tuesday night during Scotland’s exciting Nations League clash against Israel at Hampden Park, one player in particular impressed the Reds’ following.

Celtic winger James Forrest netted a hat-trick after helping his country come from 1-0 down to secure a 3-2 win, as well as first place in the group.

Liverpool left-back Andrew Robertson captained the side, and received plenty of praise from the club’s following.

However, he was not the only one to get plaudits, as some Liverpool supporters hailed Forrest, and a few urged Jurgen Klopp to sign him in January.
