Even though Liverpool fans will be focused on what Jurgen Klopp’s team can achieve this season, most will have one eye on Harry Wilson’s progress.

The winger has been part of the Reds’ fold since 2005 and at the start of 2018 he joined Championship club Hull City to gain more experience.

Since making the move to the KCOM Stadium, Wilson has scored three goals and created two assist in four starts for the club.

The youngster has made headlines once again as he scored on his full international debut for Wales in the nation’s 6-0 rout over China in the China Cup.

To make the goal even more special, Wilson reached the milestone on his 21st birthday.

With the likes of Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino lighting up Liverpool’s attack in the first team, it is difficult to consider throwing another player into the mix.

However, the fans, some of whom have turned against midfielder Emre Can because of his latest comments, have been left very impressed by Wilson’s progress.
