Loads of Liverpool fans have been reacting to their win over Fulham, and they are full of praise for summer signing Fabinho.
Liverpool fans were furious with their midfield after the defeat to Red Star Belgrade, as the trio of James Milner, Adam Lallana and Georginio Wijnaldum combined for zero tackles.
To put that in perspective, Fabinho racked up nine tackles in the home win against Red Star.
The Brazilian was back in the side and back to his best against Fulham, as the Reds won 2-0 courtesy of goals from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri.
Fabinho was an absolute colossus in the middle of the park, winning two aerial duels, completing 90 per cent of his passes and making two tackles, two interceptions and two clearances.
Klopp’s decision to be patient with his summer signing is starting to look like a stroke of genius, as the Brazilian international is getting better every game.

What a performance from Fabinho. Read the game well, shown great passing, links up with defence to attack and rarely put a foot wrong. Has benefitted playing in a 2 man midfield. Feels good to have a natural DM in the side. pic.twitter.com/XFcrYTcPqM

Those challenges he puts in are fantastic. When he pressed close to the end at the half way line and won the ball was fantastic. I think he learned from the arsenal game that he needs to move the ball on quicker, improvement to be made of course but a positive performance.

Fabinho is a phenomenal player, exactly what we’ve needed in midfield for past couple seasons, great signing.

He’ll be one of the first names on the team sheet soon; glad he’s getting some appreciation – we have missed a decent DM for years!
