Some Liverpool fans have noticed something Sadio Mane did after their goal at Old Trafford, and they believe it showed just how desperate the Senegal international is for a taste of Premier League glory.

Jurgen Klopp’s winning machine was finally brought to a halt in unspectacular fashion on Sunday, as just like with every clash between these two sides in recent years, the Reds and Red Devils bored us all to death.

Liverpool were far from their best, passing the ball sloppily and creating little, while Manchester United were limited to a few counter-attacks and set-pieces.

And while Mane was one of those who didn’t perform to his usual standard – the 27 year-old recorded a 6.63 rating on WhoScored, taking a whopping five unsuccessful touches – his reaction to the equalising goal has caught the eyes of the Anfield faithful.

While Adam Lallana and the rest of his merry band of under-achievers (we’re not mad about our fantasy teams, honest) were celebrating the England international’s goal, Mane was visibly frustrated with his teammates, trying to drag them back to the halfway line in search of a winner.

Fans are absolutely loving this mentality from the wing wizard, and you can find some of the best Twitter reactions down below…
