Nowadays, the so-called ‘bigger’ clubs tend to rest players in the early rounds of cup competitions.
By all accounts, it seems that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is planning to do that for Saturday’s fourth-round FA Cup match against West Bromwich Albion at Anfield.
Liverpool Echo journalist James Pearce revealed that captain Jordan Henderson and Dejan Lovren could feature.

Klopp also confirmed while addressing the media in his press conference on Friday that goalkeeper Simon Mignolet, who has been demoted to number two, will start this weekend.
The Reds were on a high when they went 14 games unbeaten in the Premier League, particularly as one of those results was a 4-3 win over runaway leaders Manchester City.
However, on Monday the team were stunned in a 1-0 defeat to Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium.
As a result, fans are unhappy to hear that Klopp might field a weakened team.
The FA Cup could be Liverpool’s only real chance of winning silverware this season.
