23-year-old midfielder Kevin Stewart earned a rare start for Liverpool today in the FA Cup third round clash with Plymouth Argyle at Anfield but it's fair to say supporters of the home side were not impressed with the versatile man.

Capable of playing in midfield or in defence, Stewart is rate very highly by Jurgen Klopp and featured for the entirety of Liverpool's clash with Plymouth today- although he failed to impress throughout the ninety minutes.

Up against League Two opponents, Liverpool would have been extremely disappointed with their failure to secure a victory and it makes the Reds' packed January schedule look even worse- as they now have six games to play before the end of the month.

Whilst many of the squad, which was heavily adjusted by Klopp due to Liverpool's intense fixture schedule this month, failed to impress, Stewart was picked out on social media by supporters who questioned why he's still at the club.

At 23, he's past the age where he has the potential to shine and should instead be pushing for regular first-team football. With his display today though, it's fair to assume he will never make the grade at Anfield.
