Last night’s 1-0 defeat to Swansea was a frustrating 90 minutes for Liverpool. Just eight days after beating the Premier League’s top side, and arguably the top side in Europe, they lost to a rock-bottom team who had previously picked up just two top flight victories since October.
With that in mind, we recently asked Liverpool fans to rate each individual performance out of ten, highlighting those who tried their best against the Welsh outfit and those who let the Reds down, and it was midfielder Georginio Wijnaldum who received the worst average rating – just 3.8.
And the statistics justify that miserly rating. Before being hauled off in the 72nd minute, the 45-cap international created just one chance and completed only one tackle in an incredibly passive midfield display.
So, Liverpool fans, would you drop Wijnaldum for Liverpool’s next Premier League clash away at Huddersfield? Let us know by commenting below…
