Liverpool announced on Tuesday afternoon that Liam Millar had joined Scottish outfit Kilmarnock on a season-long loan.

Indeed, the 19-year-old will spend the 2019-20 campaign with Killie, where he made 14 appearances during a loan spell in the second half of last season.

Millar, who was born in Canada and has turned out for the national team on six occasions, joined Liverpool from Fulham in 2016.

The attacker is yet to make his first-team debut for the Reds, but will be hoping that a full season of regular football will bring on his development.

The fact that Millar signed a new long-term contact with Liverpool in January is an indication that the Premier League club rate him.

And it will be interesting to see how the teenager performs this season.
