Liverpool fans have seen some concerning transfer rumours emerge in recent days, with first-team full-back Nathaniel Clyne being linked with a move to Manchester City.
The 25-year-old former Southampton man hasn’t exactly set Anfield alight with his performances for the Reds but he is still a valued member of Jurgen Klopp’s side and puts in decent performances week in, week out.
Given the fact that Liverpool fans had to endure the displays of Glen Johnson for years before Clyne’s arrival, it’s easy to see why supporters are concerned with the potential departure of the England international and they’ve been quick to express their views on Twitter.
Whilst many have suggested they would cash-in on the player, those beliefs have been hounded by other Liverpool fans who are desperate not to lose Clyne’s services – which has led to some rather amusing posts on Twitter.
Whether or not Clyne remains at Anfield remains to be seen but, as an England international, he should command a high price.
If you're an #LFC fan who's happy to see Nathaniel Clyne leave, I despair.
You no doubt put milk in first when you make a cup of tea, too.

Honestly wouldn't sell Clyne under and circumstances. City could offer £50m and I still wouldn't. No point. We wouldn't be able to replace.

Please keep in mind that before we signed Clyne, we had to endure the pain of watching Glen Johnson play at RB. We CANNOT sell Clyne.

I wouldn't sell Clyne he's the best full back in the league.

Definitely wouldn't sell Nathaniel Clyne for £35m, especially to Manchester City.

Thoughts on Nathaniel Clyne.
Wouldn't sell him at any price. Best right back in the league and so consistent for us. Love him.

I hope you have a great weekend unless you want Liverpool to sell Nathaniel Clyne, in which case I hope you stub your toe and get a papercut
