Liverpool will take on Merseyside rivals Everton in the third round of the FA Cup.
The derby was easily the standout tie when the draw was made on Monday night.
And it will be fascinating to see what transpires.
First, the two teams must lock horns in the Premier League, with that particular contest taking place at Anfield on Wednesday night.
But judging by the reaction of a number of Liverpool fans, they are feeling pretty good about the prospect of overcoming their rivals in the third round of the FA Cup.
Indeed, many found Monday’s announcement absolutely hilarious.

Not everyone shared the same opinion, though, as some of the supporters were seemingly put out that their team had been drawn against a fellow Premier League club.
The fact that Manchester City were drawn against Port Vale, at home, was not well received by the Liverpool fans to say the absolute least.
We cant have an easy one can we.

It will be fascinating to see how seriously Liverpool take the FA Cup this season considering that they are the current front-runners to win the Premier League title.
Defending their Champions League trophy will also be high up the priority list, meaning that the FA Cup could ultimately fall by the wayside.
The Reds have won this particular competition on seven previous occasions, although they have not triumphed since beating West Ham United in the 2006 final.
Meanwhile, a number of the club’s supporters have claimed that one of their former players could still do a job in the current side.
