In the end, there were many great performers for Liverpool against RB Salzburg.

The first half was a bit of a struggle for the Reds though. Their opponents managed six shots on target before the break, and had it not been for some good Alisson saves and some wasteful finishing, they could have found themselves down going into the interval. In the second half, though, they were pretty much imperious, and the scoreline could have been a lot more than 2-0, which was the final result.

Jordan Henderson was one of those who impressed. He picked up a SofaScore rating of seven, and looked very comfortable in the middle of the park.

The supporters were quick to praise his fantastic display.

With two tackles and two interceptions, he was fantastic in defence, but he also did well going forward. His pass for Mohamed's Salah's strike was brilliant, and it didn't go unnoticed by the supporters.

It was a wonderful ball for the Egypt international and, after his finishing had been off throughout the match, the 27-year-old made no mistake from an incredibly tight angle.

The former Sunderland man was playing in a central midfield role in this match in place of the injured Fabinho. Some may have been worried that the Reds would struggle without the 26-year-old, but it seems Henderson has allayed those fears.

It was a captain's performance from Henderson, and Klopp will be hoping he will be seeing plenty more performances like this in the coming weeks.
