After the highs of winning the Champions League against Tottenham, Liverpool's inactivity in the summer transfer window has slightly tempered the good vibes at Anfield.

Only teenage defender Sepp van den Berg has arrived on the red half of Merseyside, and according to Jurgen Klopp, Reds fans shouldn't expect any blockbuster signings this summer.

Speaking to the club's official website, the Liverpool boss admitted that it wouldn't be the biggest transfer window in the Reds' history, and that whilst they were working on potential signings, he was “happy” with the state of the current team.

After hearing their manager's comments, Liverpool fans took to Twitter to voice their opinion on the matter and many were seemingly split over whether they agreed with Klopp's comments.

Some felt that the decision not to strengthen this summer could come back to haunt them and that it was important that they continued to move forward despite last season's success.

Others however threw their backing behind Klopp and insisted that their fellow Reds fans simply needed to trust the club's management, particularly after delivering them their sixth Champions League title.
