The Croatia international is reportedly available for €20m (£18.2m), and the Serie A side will be given favourable treatment due to the excellent relationship between the two clubs basd on their previous business.
Liverpool and Roma have already negotiated twice in the two summer windows before this one in bringing Mohamed Salah and Alisson Becker to Anfield, and Reds owner Tom Werner is said to be good friends with Roma chairman and fellow American James Pallotta.
The 6 foot 2 centre-back has recently turned 30 and appears to be behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip in Jurgen Klopp’s pecking order, so it could be argued that he is expendable on Merseyside.
Let’s take a look at how the Liverpool fans on Twitter reacted to the news…
How is he only going to go for 20 mil? Wilson is looking to be sold at 25 mil?

PLEASE sell Lovren…….price irrelevant.

In what world is Lovren only worth 18m, No chance we sell him for that he is worth considerably more.
— Dave (@BigD_8) July 31, 2019
18 must be mad to sell at that, keep him.
— Haq khan (@alhajpp) July 31, 2019
May as well keep him since we won’t be able to replace him and I don’t want Fabinho to have to fill in at CB when Matip and Gomez are inevitably out injured.

Can we spend that money or are FSG pocketing that aswell
