Liverpool fans ridicule Manchester United’s Lukaku following embarrassing step-over

Manchester United dominated English football for decades during Sir Alex Ferguson’s reign, but at the moment they are the butt of the joke.

It is no surprise, then, that Liverpool fans are taking much pleasure in the Red Devils’ decline.

United have won just three of their seven Premier League matches, which has left them 10th in the table, nine points adrift of leaders Manchester City.

The displays on the pitch in recent matches have been dire and rifts between players and manager Jose Mourinho have been filling the gossip columns.

On Tuesday night, United started well against Champions League Group H opposition Valencia at Old Trafford, but as the minutes ticked by, the team were more laboured and struggled to create meaningful chances.

In the end, both teams settled for a goalless draw, but there was one moment that caught the attention of Liverpool fans.
