Mohamed Salah has finally scored again for Liverpool, ending a 273-minute drought after finding the net for the Merseyside club against Huddersfield.

Salah’s inclusion put to bed any injury concerns, having started at the John Smith’s Stadium on the back of pulling out of Egypt’s Africa Cup of Nations squad with a thigh strain.

Luckily for the Reds, the injury proved to just be a strain and not a tear, allowing Jurgen Klopp to call on the services of last season’s top goalscorer without missing any action for his Anfield club.

Klopp’s decision ultimately proved right as the winger scored the only goal of the game, ensuring the German’s side remain joint-top of the league with Manchester City amidst an unbeaten start to the campaign.

The goal was Salah’s fourth in the Premier League, having last netted against Southampton on September 22, and put in a performance worthy of being the man of the match.

Having finally found the net again, Liverpool fans were quick to take to social media and share their delight with the goal from No.11, even if some believed he should have been rested and some thought his performance was not all that great.
