Liverpool moved to the top of their Champions League group on Tuesday night courtesy of a 2-1 win over Genk at Anfield.

The Reds were far from at their best but goals from Georginio Wijnaldum and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain proved enough to collect all three points.

Jurgen Klopp shuffled his pack ahead of Sunday's huge game at home to Manchester City in the Premier League.

And there was a spot at left-back for James Milner.

Indeed, the 33-year-old started his third Champions League match of the campaign, but the Liverpool fans were not pleased with what they saw from the Englishman.

Milner's contract with the Reds will actually expire at the end of the season.

And not too many of the supporters were pleased with his showing against Genk.

The three points were all that mattered after Klopp decided to leave out some key players, but Milner's showing on Merseyside has been blasted by the fans.
