Liverpool fans think Buvac’s departure has killed their attack

Loads of Liverpool fans have been giving their verdict on Saturday’s draw against Arsenal, and they suspect the departure of Zeljko Buvac is hurting their attack.

Liverpool set England and Europe alight last season with their rip-roaring counter attacking displays, but the Reds just haven’t looked quite as ruthless so far this campaign.

They had scored four goals in each of their last two games leading up to the clash with Arsenal, but it was yet another blunt performance from the front three, just like the draws against Chelsea and Manchester City.

Buvac was often regarded as the man responsible for working with the attacking players on their combinations and build-up play, but the 57 year-old left the club last season under mysterious circumstances.

After serving as Jurgen Klopp’s right hand man for so many years, it was bizarre to see the Bosnian depart right at the height of the Reds’ Champions League surge, and fans think their attack has suffered for it.
