Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos was public enemy number one on May 26 when his tussle with Liverpool star Mohamed Salah become a defining moment in the Champions League final.

The Spain international had locked arms with Salah before both hit the deck within the first half an hour of the clash in Kiev.

The Liverpool attacker came off worse as he suffered a dislocated shoulder, which forced him to leave the pitch in tears as the game was goalless.

In the end, Jurgen Klopp's side lost 3-1, and even though goalkeeper Loris Karius made two costly mistakes, Ramos took the brunt of criticism from disgruntled Liverpool fans.

Since the final, a petition has been doing the rounds online calling for UEFA to take punishment against Ramos for 'deliberately' hurting Salah.

According to the London Evening Standard, the form has collected around half a million signatures, but some Liverpool fans think that the furore has gone way too far.
