Switzerland attacker Xherdan Shaqiri has admitted that he is frustrated with his current situation at Liverpool.

Indeed, in an interview with BZ Langenthaler Tagblatt, the 27-year-old conceded that he is unhappy with his lack of minutes for Jurgen Klopp's side.

Shaqiri made 30 appearances for the Reds during the 2018-19 campaign having arrived from Stoke City.

The winger played the final 11 minutes of the Community Shield against Manchester City earlier this month.

However, he has been an unused substitute in Liverpool's first two Premier League matches of the 2019-20 campaign, in addition to the UEFA Super Cup against Chelsea.

Shaqiri has suggested that he is not prepared to just sit on the sidelines for the Champions League holders, hinting at a potential exit.

A number of Liverpool fans have been offering their views on the situation, and it seems that many agree with the attacker's words.
