On-loan Manchester City goalkeeper Angus Gunn impressed for Norwich City in their FA Cup third round replay tie against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night, and Liverpool fans have urged their club to sign the stopper.

The 21-year-old has been an impressive performer for the Canaries during his season-long loan spell from the runaway Premier League leaders, and he put in another positive display against the Blues as the Championship outfit were eventually beaten on penalties.

Meanwhile, Reds manager Jurgen Klopp seems unsure as to who is his number one choice between the sticks after Loris Karius started ahead of Simon Mignolet in the win against City at Anfield on Sunday, and he may well look to bring in a new keeper either before the end of the month or in the summer.

Liverpool supporters were quick to have their say on Gunn's performance via social media, and while one said he is "exactly what Liverpool need", another simply said "sign Gunn".
