Crystal Palace forward Wilfried Zaha scored one and assisted another in his side’s 5-0 thrashing of Leicester City at Selhurst Park on Saturday, and Liverpool fans have urged their club to bring the Ivory Coast international, rated at £22.5m by Transfermarkt, to Anfield.
The 25-year-old was absent for the Eagles’ first seven matches of the Premier League campaign – in which they failed to pick up a single point – because of injury, but he has been hugely influential on his return, scoring eight goals and providing a further five assists in 27 top flight appearances.
Meanwhile, the Merseyside outfit already have a deadly front three of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino, but the Anfield faithful obviously want more and believe that the former Manchester United attacker could provide some competition for the trio.
Liverpool supporters, who are praying on Twitter that Stoke City goalkeeper Jack Butland doesn’t sign this summer, were quick to have their say on Zaha’s latest display via social media, and while one said “I want Zaha at our club”, another said “Klopp could work wonders with him”.
Here is just a selection of the Twitter reaction…
Would love Wilfred Zaha at Liverpool. Perfect impact player/occasional starter for us, definitely brings something to the table.👍👌 make it happen @LFC 🔴⚽️

Would definitely take Zaha at LFC. As long as his off field attitude is right Klopp could work wonders with him. Him, new CB and new keeper would do me. I’d take Bertrand from Southampton too if we have enough loyalty points left with them
