Liverpool fans urge Klopp to sign Leicester City’s Maddison as Lallana replacement

Liverpool have been lacking a creative spark in midfield this season, and some supporters believe that they have found the man to solve the problem.

James Maddison was regularly mentioned during the summer transfer window as he was linked to numerous Premier League clubs.

In the end, the 21-year-old left Norwich City to join Leicester City, where he has started all nine of the team’s Premier League matches this season.

In total the attack-minded ace has scored three goals and produced two assists, but he has only finished a full game once in the top flight.

On Monday night he played 75 minutes against Arsenal, who came from behind to defeat Leicester 3-1 at the Emirates.

Some Liverpool fans had a close eye on Maddison, with a handful claiming on Twitter that he would be an upgrade on Adam Lallana.

Over the weekend Lallana started for the Reds in a 1-0 win over Huddersfield, but he struggled to impress.

Injuries have taken its toll on the midfielder over the last couple of seasons, and it seems that some Liverpool fans are ready for him to move on.

On Twitter, some supporters expressed a desire for the club to sign Maddison as a replacement for Lallana, while others believe that they have already missed out.
