Against Crystal Palace on Saturday, Liverpool will be looking to consolidate their place at the top of the Premier League.

They currently lead the way by eight points, with Leicester City and Chelsea currently on 26 points to their 34. Manchester City, the current back-to-back champions, are a further point back, on 25. After 30 years without a title victory, Jurgen Klopp and co could make history this year.

This weekend, though, they will be without Mohamed Salah, Sky Sports say. The Egypt international has been struggling with an ankle problem ever since that tackle from Leicester City's Hamza Choudhury. He was named in the Pharaohs' squad for their latest fixtures, but he withdrew.

The 27-year-old's absence means that someone else will have to come in. And it appears that many Liverpool fans are backing the Belgium international to take his place.
