Loads of Liverpool fans have been discussing tonight’s League Cup clash against Chelsea, and they think it is the perfect time for Fabinho’s debut.
Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool were very measured and specific in the transfer window this summer, but the move for Fabinho is starting to look increasingly bizarre.
The Brazilian midfielder gives the Reds something that they haven’t had for years, a powerful defensive midfielder who reads the game, protects the back four and is comfortable on the ball.

However, he has spent just 60 seconds on the pitch so far this season, making a brief cameo in the final stages of the win over PSG.
The Reds are expected to rotate the squad when they welcome Chelsea to Anfield tonight, as the return fixture in the Premier League this weekend certainly holds more importance.
That said, fans think it’s now or never for Fabinho, hoping to see the towering 24 year-old start alongside fellow new signing Naby Keita.

Solanke starting tonight means lack of creativity in the attacking third, hopefully Fabinho gets a start and same with Shaqiri.
I have trust in Klopp.
