Loads of Liverpool fans have been having their say on Jürgen Klopp’s newest selection headache, as Daniel Sturridge made his case for a permanent place in the side in the win against PSG.

Liverpool fans were extremely worried about the fitness of Roberto Firmino before the clash with PSG, as the Brazilian was not fit enough to start after a horrific eye injury sustained during the win at Tottenham.

Sturridge put any such concerns to rest though, scoring the Reds’ opening goal and showing exactly why Klopp has kept him around.

The Englishman doesn’t glue the attack together like Firmino does, but he certainly has something to offer in front of goal.

Fans don’t want him to keep the spot though, as they debate possible rotation for the congested fixtures over the next couple of weeks.

The Reds face Southampton on Saturday before playing Chelsea twice next week, but fans are insistent Firmino must keep his place.
