Speaking on Sky Sports on Monday night, former Liverpool captain Jamie Carragher suggested that the Reds should consider a move for Leicester City’s James Maddison.
Indeed, in quotes carried by the Liverpool Echo, Carragher claimed that Maddison is the player the club “should be looking at” to improve their attacking midfield options.
And it appears that a number of the Liverpool fans are in agreement when it comes to the playmaker, who missed an excellent chance to score in the latter stages of Leicester’s 1-1 draw with Chelsea in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Maddison scored seven times and registered seven assists in 36 Premier League appearances for the Foxes during the 2018-19 campaign.
Earlier this month, a number of Manchester United fans called on their club to move for the Englishman in next summer’s transfer window.

However, the Liverpool supporters are also desperate for their team to secure a deal for the 22-year-old – as shown by the tweets below:

Maddison or Ruben Neves
But I’m gonna go with James Madison because of the creativity we’re lacking in our Attacking Midfield
