It is safe to say that Liverpool fans will be the first to mock Manchester United whenever they suffer disappointment.

The rivalry between the North-West clubs is one of the fiercest in the Premier League, so when Jose Mourinho's side lost to West Ham United in the early kickoff on Saturday, it was an enjoyable moment for plenty of Liverpool supporters.

The pressure was on the Red Devils to get a result given that in their last two outings they were held to a 1-1 draw by Wolverhampton Wanderers and were knocked out of the EFL Cup by Derby County.

However, they were unable to deliver as West Ham earned a 3-1 victory at the London Stadium.

Mourinho raised some eyebrows by playing three centre-backs in what looked to be a 3-5-2 formation.

Upon the final whistle, plenty of Liverpool fans took to Twitter urging the club not to sack the manager, who has overseen just three wins in seven top-flight matches this season.
