Liverpool fans have been discussing some possible team changes ahead of their trip to Napoli, and a lot of fans are calling for Daniel Sturridge to start in the Champions League once again.

Sturridge started Liverpool’s Champions League opener due to an injury for Roberto Firmino, and the Englishman showed exactly why Jürgen Klopp has kept him around.

The 29-year-old has been devastated by injuries during his five years with the Reds, but his striker’s instinct was on show against PSG when he nipped in between the centre-halves to find the opening goal.

He has since scored twice in two games against Chelsea, including a late stunner on Saturday evening to mark his 50^th Premier League goal.

Reds’ fans are now calling for him to start away at Napoli, as they already have one eye on Sunday’s huge clash against Manchester City.

The champions are ahead of Klopp’s side on goal difference, and having Firmino fully rested would be a huge boost, but it is still quite surprising to see so many fans calling for the Brazilian to be benched for a tough European away game.
