Liverpool fans on Twitter have called for the club to sign Bayern Munich winger Serge Gnabry following his two-goal display against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge on Tuesday night.
The Germany international may have once failed to become a first-team regular at Arsenal, but it’s fair to say he’s hitting the heights with the Bundesliga giants right now.
The 24-year-old took his tally to 17 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions this season with a brace against Frank Lampard’s men, both excellent finishes.
The versatile wide man, who has played on both flanks for Bayern during the 2019/20 campaign as per Transfermarkt, shone in the capital for the second time this term having scored four goals in his club’s 7-2 victory against Tottenham Hotspur in October.
While one supporter was excited by the prospect of Gnabry working under Jurgen Klopp, another even proposed a swap deal involving Mo Salah.
A further individual said they would like to see both him and Timo Werner, who Liverpool are reportedly in ongoing talks about a summer deal for according to ESPN, sign.
Swap Gnabry for Salah 👍

Serge Gnabry would be great in a Liverpool Shirt. Him and Werner… That’ll do please 🤓.

Two other fans chose to focus on two current Liverpool players, suggesting that if and when either Salah or Sadio Mane depart Anfield, the German would be the ideal replacement for them.
Given his age and his current record for Bayern that isn’t a bad shout, but he would surely come at a cost given his form.
If Mo Salah decides to leave , gnabry would be a perfect replacement.

When Mane goes, Gnabry has got to be our number one target

That is certainly a bold opinion, and perhaps they simply see the 24-year-old as the most realistic addition out of the trio.
Mr Klopp, forget sancho , sign gnabry
