Liverpool fans want to sign David Brooks after display for Bournemouth vs Everton

Bournemouth attacker David Brooks impressed in his side’s 2-0 defeat to Everton at Goodison Park on Sunday, and Liverpool fans were quick to take to Twitter to say that they wanted to sign the 21-year-old.

The nine-cap Wales international only made the step up to the Premier League with the Cherries in July following a move from Sheffield United, but he has made a huge impression for Eddie Howe’s men this term with two assists and five goals in 20 top-flight appearances, and he was unlucky not to add to his account after hitting the post on Merseyside.

Despite primarily being a winger previously, the youngster has been excelling in a No.10 role for the south coast club in more recent times and should he join a side like Jurgen Klopp’s, he would like play a central attacking midfield role in a 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 system at Anfield.

Liverpool supporters took to social media to give their thoughts on Brooks’ most recent showing, and while one said “sell Lallana and get him”, another said “the lad oozes quality”.
